The Berri Hotel Group is administered and managed by a Board of Directors elected by members from the local community for the benefit of the local community.
Developing a community asset means developing something of which the locals can be proud. Our profits go back into the local community through the sponsorship of local events, clubs and charities. In the last 10 years this support has totaled over 1 million dollars.
This guest information is designed to assist you with useful information and services to help ensure your visit is a memorable one.

MINI-BAR
Please enjoy a two complimentary bottles of water in your mini-bar. Additional beverages can be purchased via the Big River Golf and Country Club bar/reception desk.
ACCOUNTS
Accounts are issued on arrival and are due for payment immediately. Reservations made through third party online booking sites are processed on the day of arrival. Surcharges may apply for credit card payments (see Credit Cards)
AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING
Your room is individually equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning. If the air conditioner is not operating correctly, firstly check that the correct mode has been selected. There is a mode button on the control unit (or remote control) which can change the unit from heating to cooling. For any further instructions, please contact reception.

BARBECUE FACILITIES
Barbecues for guest use are located under each gazebo outside rooms 1-9, 17-23 and 24-30. There is a Butcher and Coles Supermarket located within the Berri Central Plaza complex where guests can purchase meat packs. Please tidy the grounds after use. A portable barbecue is available upon request from reception by prior arrange.

Blankets are located in your wardrobe. For an extra blanket, please contact reception on 9 or phone (08) 8582 2688
BREAKFAST
Breakfast is served between 7am to 10am daily in the Tavern restaurant featuring a al-a-carte breakfast menu.

Should it be necessary to cancel or amend your reservation, please contact reception.
CAR PARKING
Please enjoy 24-hour access to our guest carpark. Each room has an allocated carpark directly outside the motel block.

Your safety is our utmost concern.
In the event of an emergency evacuation, proceed to the nearest emergency assembly area (evacuation information is on the rear of the front door).
Please advise reception of an emergency but always dial 000 for emergencies immediately if required.

Our facilities are complimentary for all guests staying with us including the use of the barbecue facilities. Guests are invited to relax by the seasonal outdoor swimming pool (closed from May to September), perfect for those warm summer days.
GAMING LOUNGE
The private gaming room is located at the Tavern. We have a selection of the latest games available, accessible during the designated opening hours from 8.00am daily. Adults only, persons under 18 not allowed.
GOLF
The Berri Golf Course is widely acclaimed for its beautifully presented grass greens and fairways lined with native trees and flowering shrubs.

Assistance animals are permitted onto the property and accommodation areas; no other pets are allowed without prior permission from management. Additional cleaning fees do apply.

Dial 9 to place an order for a taxi or dial direct to Berri Taxi Service 131 008. Although the taxi service is usually very reliable we recommend you book your taxi in advance.
TELEPHONE
Room to Room – dial the room number required as a three-digit number starting with either 2 or 20 depending on the room number. I.e. Rooms 1-9 dial 20 before the room number required or for rooms 10-30 dial 2 before the room number required.
Telephones cannot dial external numbers, only 000 in case of a emergency.

SECURITY
All rooms are fitted with security devices. We recommend that you ensure that you have locked your door and placed the latch over before retiring for the night. For additional safety, we recommend that you also lock your vehicle and that no valuables are left within sight.
SMOKING
All rooms are designated Non-Smoking. Smoking will only be allowed outside the building. Smoking within our motel rooms is considered to be malicious damage. If a room is found to have been used for smoking by the guests or invitees of the guests a minimum charge of $200.00 will be charged to the guests account or credit card supplied at check-in to compensate for:
SMOKE DETECTORS
All rooms are fitted with smoke detectors which are monitored from a central fire panel. Should you accidentally trigger your smoke detector please contact reception straight away. Triggering a smoke detector will also trigger adjoining rooms in your section of the motel. Attempting to disconnect or tamper with detectors will also trigger them.
